Early Days - Focus on Grassroots Development

Since these are still early days, we're concentrating on building our campaign team so that we'll be ready in the months leading up to the referendum. By sharing a little of your background, skills and interest with us now, you're letting us know that you're ready and willing to take on appropriate tasks as they come up - we will contact you as needs arise.

Current Needs (Volunteer Opportunities)

1. Riding coordinators - we need coordinators in each riding to find other STV supporters to start educating one another and planning for the on-the-ground campaign.
2. Website gurus - we have a basic Drupal installation set up, tied in with CiviCRM. However, we need help from people who have a more professional understanding of website design and who have good ideas about how to use internet technology to build social activist communities.
3. Graphic Designers / Marketing Campaign Material Designers - we need people who can help us design and source campaign materials.
4. Media Monitors - we need people to identify local journalists in newspapers, radio, TV and the internet, to monitor relevant articles, and respond with letters to the editor and OpEd pieces.
5. Connectors and Networkers - we need people who can identify key people in their local communities who support STV and would be willing to take a public stand in favour.
6. Fundraisers - we need people who can help us identify potential donors to support our campaign.
